The shooting to death of Gulder Ultimate Search 2006 winner, Hector Oluwaseun Joberteh in Lagos by unidentified gunmen over the weekend has continued to remain a shock to his friends and family members.
Close associates were shocked with the news of his gruesome murder in his Lagos home by unknown gunmen.
Reports revealed that he had recently arrived Nigeria to spend a few weeks. On Saturday morning, he went to the airport to pick a relative who had also just arrived.
Shortly after he got back home, two armed men forced their way into the building, harassed a few neighbours and shot Hector at close range once they saw him. His father also got shot but survived.
The assailants then escaped without stealing anything, leading friends and family to believe that this was an assassination.
Hector got married in 2013 and shuttled between Nigeria and the US where his wife and daughter lived. His wife is reportedly pregnant with another child.
