Twa Savage and Omarion
Nigeria’s pop queen, Tiwa Savage has just taken a leap to California to enlist Omarion for the remix to “Get It Now”. This is sequel to the release of vibrant video for the original.
The steamy track is one of the offerings off her 2017 EP, “Sugarcane”, which settled for a cool tone.
On the remix, Tiwa goes the same route as the original version.
She sings to a love interest to come claim what he wants as he is not the only one with eyes on her.
“Your time is running out, you better get it now”, she implores.
Omarion is known for flourishing on sensual sounds capes where the feminine body is the topic of discussion. He does not disappoint on this track.
He reminds Tiwa, or whoever he’s talking to, that as much as he wants this, she needs to show her desire too.
“Say it like you mean it, sing that song to me.”, Omarion sings.
“You know it’s on you, I’m already going my way”
On a song that was not deficient in that regard, Omarion complements Tiwa by providing a masculine perspective to the subject of desire.
In recent weeks, Mavin’s first lady has been on a spree of features, from trading slang on street hits to offering sonorous verses on pop cuts.
