For the very first time, singer, Tiwa Savage has come out to speak about her rumoured relationship with music star, Wizkid.
During a radio chat monitored in Lagos, Tiwa Savage got to talk about how she has been able to handle the rumoured relationship between Wizkid and herself.
Said she: “We are friends definitely. To be honest, I think I have been in this industry for a long time, I have grown a thick skin so comments like that, genuinely, honestly don’t bother me that much. I am kinda used to it. Today it’s Humblesmith, tomorrow it’s Wiz, it’s just what it is, it’s part of the job”.
When asked about her relationship with ex-husband, TeeBillz and if she had any advice for anyone married, Tiwa declined to answer saying it was a very sensitive issue because of the parties involved which include her son.
Over the last few months, the relationship between Wizkid and Tiwa Savage has been a front burner in every major soft sell magazine and news website. It all started off as a rumour and later hints began building into a story behind their relationship.
A few months ago, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid got everyone talking when a video of the two spotted in a position which got everyone thinking if they were kissing. In a now-viral video, the two were spotted in a club in Ghana with a number of friends partying with the two all loved up.
In the video, Tiwa is seen getting really close to the ‘Star Boy’ while they are vibing to Reekado Banks’ song ‘Like’ which features Tiwa Savage, and Voila! It looks like they kissed for a few seconds. Well, the guys around them didn’t look surprised maybe because the kiss was very brief or they had seen them do it before.
It is no longer news that Wizkid sold out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London some weeks ago. What is news is his continuous frolicking with Tiwa Savage. During his electrifying performance, he stopped the show midway to bring Mummy Jam Jam on stage to perform their hit collaboration song, ‘Malo.’
It wasn’t the normal introduction of a co-star, as the singer called Tiwa Savage “Someone special” which got a lot of cheers from the crowd. He also added, “Stay sexy for daddy.”
