The Oyo State government has come under serious rebuke by Afenifere, the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group over the manner in which it demolished gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele’s Music House in Ibadan.
Afenifere frowned especially at the timing of the act, describing it as “high-handedness, impunity and an abuse of power”.
The group, in a statement signed by its acting publicity secretary, Comrade Jare Ajayi, on Thursday, said the act was condemnable and would no longer be tolerated.
Recall that it was widely reported across media platforms how the Music House, which housed Ayefele’s radio station, Fresh FM Ibadan, estimated at N800 million, was demolished in the early hours of Sunday.
