The Chibok girls schooling at American University In Nigeria (AUN) have won a major concession from the authorities in respect of the foods served at the university cafeteria.
Following an interactive meeting with the university management at the Commencement Hall, www.beats-onit.com gathered, the two parties agreed to widen the menu to include more of native dishes to suit the girls’ taste.
AUN Cafeteria which caters to staff and faculty members, and students serve mostly continental dishes.
It was revealed at the meeting that most of the students enrolled in the New Foundation School that prepares them for matriculation prefer more of the African menu comprising, Burabusko, Buski, Miyan kuka, and Margi special. These are some of the local delicacies of Nigeria’s North-East.
