Desmond Elliot and Davido
Nollywood actor-turned politician, Desmond Elliot, presently representing Surulere 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has incured the wrath of singer, Davido, and other Nigerians over his description of #EndSARS protesters as children, as well as saying that Nigeria might disintegrate if the social media space was not regulated.
Elliot had while issuing the warning during plenary lamented the massive looting in the wake of the End SARS protests across the country, urging social media influencers, celebrities to stop spreading hate via social media.
In his reaction, singer, Davido, and some Nigerians took to their Twitter pages to express their disappointment over Desmond Elliot’s statement.
