Some items recovered by VGN from looters
Operatives of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) nationwide are to join the country’s security agencies in the recovery of looted items from the involved members of the public. They will also take part in cleanup efforts alongside members of thenpublic.
Umar Bakori, Commander General of VGN, made the disclosure in a directive sent to all state Commands of the Group.
Bakori further directed all local government commanders to liaise with all security agencies in their local government areas on this recovery effort.

“As the country grapples with cleanup efforts and recovery from the aftermath of the #EndSars protests. all state commands are to liaise with all security agencies to help in the recovery of looted items from members of the public.
“We are to ensure that calm and order is restored to our communities but we must remain civil to all.
“Officers and men of the vigilante group of Nigeria are also to join members of the public in all cleanup effects as this will further endear us to our various communities.
“All local government commanders are to liaise with all security agencies in their local government areas on this recovery effort”.
