Ikpeazu Sues For Support Of Ututu People In Development Drive

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has solicited the support of Ututu people as he strives to ensure even development in all communities in the state.

He also urged them to comply adhere to all Covid 19 preventive protocols for their safety and well being.

Speaking at a fund-raising event at St Paul’s Catholic church, Ututu in Arochukwu Local Government Area of the state, Ikpeazu assured that his Government would continue to assist communities achieve their developmental initiatives.

The Governor who spoke through the provost of Abia State College of Education Technical Arochukwu (ASCETA) Dr Phillips Nto, said his love for Ututu people encouraged him to appoint their sons into positions of authority in the state.

He said apart from the provost, he also appointed special Advisers and education secretary from the community, while the newly elected deputy chairman of Arochukwu LG ,Hon Cletus Nwankwo hails from there too.

In his remarks,the provost,Dr Phillips Nto, former commissioner for Information in the state, described Ikpeazu as a special friend of Ututu community through his appointments and siting of projects.

He attributed the giant strides he has recorded in ASCETA to the support and financial assistance of the Governor and praised him for always identifying with the people of Ututu.

In his remarks, the parish priest of St Paul’s Catholic church, Ututu, Rev. Father Livinus Okamgba appreciated the governor for his support and prayed for the success of his administration.
