The 14 edition of Headies Awards was obviously emersed in all round technical issues and Nigerians are not hiding their disgust for the show.
The organisers instantly became subjects of ridicule and mockery as they were taken to the cleaners by social media commentators.
Apart from poor sound, the red carpet section of the 14th edition of Headies award had been expected to have commenced at 7:00 pm, while the award presentation and performance of artists was expected to kick off by 8pm. But they were not to be.
However, they experienced technical issues and sound mishaps as viewers could hear conversations which were supposed to be off-air.
HipTv channel was on pause for some minutes before they turned off the red carpet interviews and went off-air.
The late start of the awards stirred reactions from Nigerians who took to social media platforms to call out the production team of for what they described as embarrassment.
