Kwitee
Kwitee, one of Nigeria’s gifted trumpeters dropped a single Friday, September10, 2021. Entitled “Beauty Of Africa“, it’s a love song to all the beautiful African ladies all over the world and its called featuring Wendy Kay, one Kenya’s finest female vocalists.
Kwitee (real name, Okwi Godwin Iguwe) is a performer from Abia State, born and brought up in Warri, Delta State. He started his musical career at the age of nine as a percussionist, and eventually became a front-line drummer at age 11 before chosing the trumpet as his major instrument. He has already made a name for himself blowing the wind instrument.
A prolific songwriter, Kwitee leads one of Africa’s most prolific musical band, Kwitee and the Cosmos, who through their electrifying compositions and delivery have succeeded in bridging the gap between the older and the younger generation.
He has worked with great musicians such as; Dr. Ron Kenoly, Lionel Peterson, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Patoranking, Brymo and others
