The much publicised Creative Industry Festival (CIFEST) has again been postponed.

Amb. Felix Duke, Creative Industry Group (CIG) president, announced the postponement in a statement he signed and made available to www.beats-onit.com, explaining that it was due to un-going talks between intending sponsors and the Group in respect of a more convenient date that would suit all parties.

CIFEST 2022 had been slated to hold between May 1and 7, 2022 at designated locations across Lagos State with continuous behive of activities at the Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos daily for the duration of the festival. After due deliberation, members of the CIG executive agreed for later date that will be announced in the nearest future.

All foreign participants in the continent and beyond as well as States in Nigeria have been duly informed.

CIG also expressed regret and further apologised to all expected and intending participants, as well as guests for any inconveniency caused by the postponement.

The ‘CIFEST 2021’, it will be recalled, was earlier scheduled for November 2021, but was postponed to give room for participation of more creative minds.
