The latest single by Iyanya, Nigerian singer, entitled ‘One Side’, has just got released. The musician announced this via his social media handles.

In the less than three-minute love-themed project, Iyanya sings about his desire for true love, expressing the depth of his affection for his woman.

Sings he in pidgin: “Me no fi look and pass. She give me eye contact. O baby jekomo. O baby jor gimme dis ur love. Me I go show u love. As long as you no rip me jo. Your body must to kill a man.

“I no mind to be one of dem. Kolombi ur body na im I wan do make my mind de rest. E better make I de with u cos dese olosho don de cost. Baby turn around make I come ontop”.

Iyanya rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa. He released his debut album in 2011.

The singer co-founded the record label MMMG with Ubi Franklin, the music executive, the same year.

He has established himself as a household name in the Nigerian music industry since then with several awards and recognition.

Iyanya, however, raised concerns at some point after he took a break from music. However, he in July, disclosed that his four-year hiatus was for his mental health.
