Korra Obidi, US-based Nigerian dancer, during a live session via Facebook, claimed that June, her daughter, was abducted from her new school, just as she accused Justin Dean, her ex-husband, of kidnapping the child.
She said she intentionally avoided involving her divorce issues when registering June by listing both parents’ names.
Obidi alleged that her ex-spouse took advantage of it and abducted June from the school.
Said she: “I went to pick June up from school and she was missing. The teacher said someone came to pick June up by 1:00 and school closes by 2:00 pm.
“June is not with me right now. She is missing. And of course, I know who kidnapped June from her new school. This is a brand-new school. She started the new school yesterday, and she did not even finish the whole day of her second day in school.
“When I wanted to register her in the new school I did not want to bring the divorce drama issues to the school. So I put the names of both parents. So that is how he was basically able to go to school and kidnapped her”.
Obidi and Dean’s marriage crashed in March 2022.
A few weeks after their divorce, Obidi accused her ex-husband of stealing $5,000 from their joint account.
She in November 2022, also alleged that Dean demanded spousal support from her.
Obidi claimed she paid half of her bride price, just as she also alleged that she paid $50,000 to Dean just to see her kids.
Dean in July 2023, accused his ex-wife of ruining his reputation, claiming that her actions caused him harm and made him depressed.
