Hon. Philip Shaibu, Edo State deputy governor, and leading Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant for the guberbatorial polls in the state this year, has submitted his momination documents at the party’s national Secretariat in Abuja.
The front-running governorship aspirant, presently branded Original Homeboy, by his supporters and admirers, in company of many of his followers, made waves as they stormed the Wadata House Abuja headquarters of PDP to hand in the documents.
Meanwhile, Monday, January 29, 2024 has been scheduled for the screening of PPD governorship aspirants for the September polls in Edo State.
Pleading anonimity while reacting to the development, a Shaibu stunch supporter, stressed that Edo State, at this crucial moment, needed a leader cut in the mould of Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, with a proven track record, unwavering integrity, unparalleled competence, and extensive experience. He held that Shaibu is embodiment of those qualities

He therefore, called Edo people to rally behind a leader who consistently demonstrates dedication to public service and community advancement, adding that Shaibu was the beacon of hope and the catalyst for positive change.
