The reported killing of 19 policemen by suspected herders in an evil forest in Ughelli town, has prompted preparation by concerned in Delta State to protest.
The officers, deployed on a mission to eliminate criminals, did not return, and only six decomposing corpses have been found so far.
Criticism arises over sending police into a dangerous forest at night, questioning the decision as akin to a suicide mission. Residents urge the police authorities to address the situation, declare a day of mourning for the fallen heroes, and provide substantial support to the officers’ families.
