Matthew 14:15-21.
There is always a way out for the LORD Jesus Christ – that is, the way to get things done without difficulty. After three days of teaching and ministering at the crusade ground in the wilderness, the followers needed to eat. They had been fasting without food for three days. So they needed food in their tummies. But there was no food according to the disciples. Besides , there was not much money to finance a comprehensive buy to feed the people.
“But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat”.
” And they say unto him, We have here five loaves, and two fishes”.
“He said , Bring them hither to me”.
As the story went on, Jesus commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass , he then took the five loaves and the two fishes , and looking up to heaven, he blessed , and gave the loaves to his disciples to share to the multitude.
As the story went on , they did all eat and were filled to capacity. Then, some twelve baskets were full after they had all eaten.
Not fewer than five thousand men, excluding women and children, were filled. That is the way Jesus dealt with the situation.
Now I want you to consider the fact that there could be a different form of this nature. Have you considered the case of a man wanting to eat some good food? Have you also considered a woman wanting to eat some rice and had none ? Or you are a not so favoured person having to eat some beans but it wasn’t available.. Then what do you do? This is where Jesus is supreme. He gets all the things transformed to meet our needs. He makes all things beautiful and useful.
Maybe God has given us some good food outside our usual daily demands. To Him be the glory!
You have been looking up to God for some time now. And it seems to be getting out of hand because things are becoming too difficult. I want to counsel you to be a little bit more patient because it will soon be over. God understands that you need a baby, God understands that you need a husband, God understands that you need a wife. He also knows that you are in need of several sundry items. He says you should be calm.
Have you heard of some other things that are kept in the cold place? I know you have heard of them. Now I want you to think of the things you have prayed for some time now. And how you are able to overcome them without compromise, and above all, without pleasing the devil.
Just recently, I had a discussion with someone who had just come out of the hospital. When he told me the kind of things he went through in the hospital, I almost began to shed tears. For the things that he went through , and the things he bore on his body. They were simply too much . But that is how the going is with us here on earth. And it is only Jesus Christ who is the one COMMITTED to making a change. He says a thing ,and He brings it to pass.
I am aware of a number of diseases that bother so many people. Some of these diseases are not very easy to check or to control. They are just simply in charge of themselves, occupy whole part of the body, or they just take over a sizeable portion of the body. Yours could be different. But in all of this, there is always a hand of the Almighty ready to strike it away. And that is the joy we have in Jesus. Thanks be to God.
