The intervention of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the twenty-five years that it has carried out its mandate to improve the lives of people living in the Niger Delta region, the Eziofun Idumu-Ebor River in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has witnessed improved, flourishing waterways, and economic activities.
Clearance of the blocked section of the river was a vital intervention to address the multiple needs of the community.
This intervention improved waterflow which has enhanced local agriculture including fishing, helping families to meet up with their responsibilities to love.
