The General Superintendent of Holy Spirit Mission (The Happy Family Nation), Bishop Charles Ighele has called upon government at all levels, and well meaning Nigerians to seek ways of identifying cause, and proffering lasting solutions to the issues facing the country.

Ighele gave the charge in his Easter message, made available to the Association of Christian Correspondents of Nigeria (ACCoN) in Lagos.

The Bishop said all genuine stakeholders in the Project Nigeria as a matter of urgency, needed to meet and ask themselves some relevant questions.

Said he: “My Easter message is to call for all genuine stakeholders in PROJECT NIGERIA to meet and ask ourselves these questions:

“Why did Nigeria get to the low level it is today to the extent that Nigerians are now migrating to Ghana in huge numbers?

“How did we get to this low level whereby Nigerian prostitutes are the cheapest in some African countries?

“What can be done to get Nigerians to be properly educated and civilised into a world power where they have values such as honesty, dignity of labour, love for country and fellow humans and so on? “

The bishop said that Nigeria needed to be resurrected, as he appealed to the political leaders to set up a Truth Commission that would look into the cause of the problems and how the country got to where it is currently.

Stressed he: “The truth is that Nigeria needs to be resurrected. And I appeal to the political leaders to set up a Truth Commission that will look at how we got to this level of poverty; how we got to this level of lawlessness; how we got to this level of moral, educational and religious decadence, and to suggest how we can come out of the dead”.
