The streets of Bauchi, capital of Bauchi State, have witnessed posters promoting the State governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for the 2027 presidency with the slogan, “Kaura for President 2027”.
The posters were seen at strategic locations including roundabouts, electric poles, and signboards on such major roads as Railway Road, Sabon Titin Karofi, and Kofar Dumi Streets.
One of the youths involved in the pasting of the posters, Aminu Auwal, said they were hired by two politicians to do the job.
Disclosed Auwal: “We were directed to post the Governor’s posters along major streets of Bauchi State. We started the work around 1:00am today and we are hoping to finish it today”.
The individuals who reportedly commissioned the work were identified as Ya’u Ortega and Talolo, but efforts to reach them for comment were unsuccessful as their phone numbers did not connect.
